Through memberships, tax deductible donations and fundraisers Friends has provided enough support to help build beautiful parks, make improvements and expand recreational activities. Since 2000, Friends has committed over $550,000 of grants…and we’re just getting started! Below are some of the examples of the impact all of our “Friends” have made:

• Funneled the memorial donations received on behalf of Steven Malin, Jr. to create Malin Field.
• Renovations and expansion of the Recreation Center.
• Sailboats for #1 rated Lake Forest Sailing Program.

• Grant for Kinderhaven Teacher professional development.

• Funding for need-based program scholarships.
• Matthew Parsky Memorial Garden in (Deerpath Park).
• Sponsorship of the Junior Olympic Sailing Regatta.
• Kreisher Memorial Batting Cage (Deerpath Park)
• Outside furniture at the Deerpath Golf Course’s shaded resaurant
